A new survey from Pew Research Center revealed that Americans prefer to watch the news rather than read it by a ratio of 47 to 34 percent, marking only a minimal change from 2016’s study, which tallied 46 percent of respondents as news-watchers to 35 percent as news-readers. Since 2016, audio has seen an increase in popularity.

That’s the same number of users that Snapchat’s whole app reportedly hit around June 2016. According to Bloomberg, in the 25 weeks since launch, Instagram Stories has reached 150 million daily users. Snapchat’s CEO recently said there’s been an average decline in Snapchat Stories views of 20 to 30 percent from August until mid-January.
