It was, and continues to be, one of the coolest announcements I’ve had the privilege to contribute to in my PR career. Vocus eliminated the ad model and started to replace Shankman’s ads with white paper and webinar promos. It challenged PR pros everywhere to consider, what was at the time, a nascent opportunity for digital PR.
