In Memoriam: Craig Toyoki Miyamoto, APR, Fellow PRSA

Prior to entering the PR profession, Miyamoto was a newspaper reporter and managing editor in the Los Angeles area. The Chapter inducted him as a member of the PRSA Hawaii Hall of Fame in 2003. He was also active in Sections and Districts as well as the PRSA Board of Ethics and Professional Standards.

Byrum served as PRSA’s president and CEO in 2003. A former journalist and editor, he worked for numerous newspapers and a wire service, earning numerous accolades and journalism awards. Davis Symposium on Ethics at Pennsylvania State University, and at Washington and Lee University’s Institute on Media Ethics. .
