And when in 2005 Veselin Zlatev, then mayor of the city, arrived in Sofia for my 50th birthday, he gave me a medal for being an honorary citizen of Shumen - it caught me by surprise! as well as with his Darik radio program with the same name, where I have been a guest too. The certificate is here - in my office - close to me.
