I suppose the FT figured a headline along the lines of “You’re Too Stupid to Figure Out Journalism from Propaganda” might alienate readers. Because that seems to be one of the themes in the FT piece.

Social teams are under-resourced. We certainly new social teams were under-resourced. I also think social teams should be run by people with comms (or journalism, in some cases) backgrounds. On the flip side, only 11% of companies had 11 or more social employees. We knew most social teams were 1-2 person bands.
