Get NewsWhip insights straight to your Microsoft Teams channels

Our integration with Microsoft Teams is now live, allowing NewsWhip users to send alerts directly to both public and private channels within Teams.

Dovetailing with our pre-existing email and Slack alerts, this will make it easier for NewsWhip users to receive insights on the stories they care about, and to share it with key decision makers and stakeholders.

Get data where you work

We’re focused on delivering NewsWhip insights into the hands of as many people as possible — both users of our product and non-users, and we want to do that in a way that fits with the way those people are already working.

Our new Teams integration will do just that, allowing you to set up alerts to go directly to the place where you spend the most time. If you use email as your primary communication method, that’s great — you still have that option — but now you can receive alerts directly into Teams channels too.

This is particularly useful in a situation where you might have multiple stakeholders around the business, some of whom might not have access to the NewsWhip platform directly.

Share NewsWhip data with your broader team

The Teams integration allows our real-time and predictive alerts to go directly to any channel in your workspace, meaning that a wide range of people can be kept up-to-date with developing stories.

For example, let’s say there’s a product launch and your CMO wants to measure impactful earned media wins. You could create an alert for any coverage of that product that breaks a certain level of engagement and have it sent straight to a Product Launch Coverage channel, containing any key stakeholders. That way, the wins are obvious to anyone that is interested to look, showcasing the information even beyond your core group of NewsWhip users.

Obviously, sometimes this information is sensitive, and you don’t want to send alerts to public channels. Your brand may be facing criticism or a crisis, and your team needs to have sensitive discussions about how to respond. Our first-of-its-kind private channel alert integration allows you to do that with confidence, setting up channels where you can share information and ideate as needed to sensitive topics.

Whether it’s in public or private channels, this integration allows you to quickly share updates and insights with your team without the back-and-forth that email can create — enabling you to react and collaborate even quicker than before.

The Teams integration is live today, so there’s no need to wait. If you’d like to find out more about how to get access or set this up for your team, get in touch with us here.
