3 tips for getting your articles in front of as many people as possible

by | Jul 18, 2022 | Public Relations

Getting your articles in front of as many people as possible sounds a lot easier than it actually is, especially when you take into account the people that you want to get it in front of is a select market that will find it interesting—and will actively respond to the information that you have included within it.

#1 Advertise to your target audience

It is important that you work out exactly who your target audience is for any article that you write so that you can write your article in a manner that they will be able to relate to and understand. Obviously, writing the articles isn’t enough to have them read and, if need be, acted on, you are going to have to put in a little more effort than that.

This is where it can be highly beneficial to have an experienced PPC agency on board in order to make sure that you are honing your long-tailed keywords to the right ones for your particular niche; otherwise, you could very well be throwing your money down the drain by putting your articles in front of people that only have a passing interest in what you have to say and have no intention of acting on or taking part in your specified promotion.

#2 Get your name and articles known on social media

Indeed, if you get your name and some of your articles known on social media platforms, you could very well find that your target audience will seek your writing out in order to read more or learn more about the topics that you particularly write about. This can be achieved by attaining the help of a social media influencer that specifically deals with the niche that you write about and asking them to speak or mention an article that you have written along with your name.

This could very well have a two-way stream for your business as you may very well find that those in business who appreciate your style of writing will ask you to write articles for them and their websites or publishing.

#3 Look for publications with the same or similar material

With this in mind, you should always look for publications, whether hard copies or online versions, that cover your particular niche. Using these publications to get your name known or any of your articles is a good way of procuring work and getting your articles in front of some of your target market, as it is highly likely that they will already be subscribing to these publications.

To wrap it all up

Although online platforms are the most likely arena where you will get the maximum amount of exposure for your articles, it is not the only place where you can put forward your ideas and knowledge.

Indeed, using the more traditional methods of newspapers and magazines, either online or hard copies, do still have a place with many readers and are for some actually preferred to staring at a monitor or phone screen.
