What we learned from our 2023 brands report

We recently published our first brands report, which looked back at articles about some of the top brands across three different industries to draw conclusions about what resonated with the public and media in earned media coverage. Those sectors were tech, food & bev, and auto, and we looked at a handful of brands or brand families in each. Here’s some of what we learned, as well as a few tidbits that we couldn’t fit into the full report.

In Memoriam: Cecilia Anne Boswell, APR, Fellow PRSA

Cecilia Anne Boswell, APR, Fellow PRSA, a longtime PRSA member, distinguished PR practitioner and former member of the PRSA Board of Directors, died on Dec. 3, 2022. She was 89. Spanning more than 30 years in government public relations, Boswell began her career in 1973 as the director of public relations for the Georgia Department of Human Resources and the Georgia Office of Child Support, where she worked until her retirement.
