I wasn’t trying to shoot the messenger, after all, a reporter said those words. Since Silicon Valley Watcher reporter Tom Foremski wrote Die, Press Release, Die in 2008. The appetite is there.

Is Space Tourism an Unnecessary Splurge?

Swiss bank UBS has estimated that space tourism could be a $3 billion industry by 2029. Interestingly, Musk reportedly bought a ticket on Virgin Galactic about 15 years ago; he likely will also fly on one of his own SpaceX ships someday. There’s a lot of good that those billions of dollars could do.
