PwC analyzed how artificial intelligence (AI) will change how business is conducted in 2024.

A survey of 1,026 U.S. executives was conducted from Aug. 16 – Sept. 13, 2023.

Key findings include:

1.) 73% of U.S. companies have already adopted AI in “at least some” areas of their business. 
— 54% of respondents have implemented generative AI in their businesses.
2.) 44% of business leaders said that their companies are planning to take better advantage of generative AI in 2024.
3.) Five key AI business predictions were outlined in the report:
— Businesses who make the right AI choices will have a competitive edge.
— Generative AI will redefine the work of leaders just as much as employees.
— A “moment of truth” for trust in AI is coming.
— Generative AI will be the “missing link” for data.
— Generative AI will give rise to new classes of products and services.
