The fastest growing change is the preference for getting news on a mobile device. In 2016 74% of Americans have ever access news on a mobile device. This is up from 54% in 2013.
What this means for PR
Make sure that your news content is available online and is optimized for search. Search engines are now regarded as the first and most trusted source for news.
Your brand newsroom should be fully responsive, pass the Google mobile-friendly test and load fast. Either get your IT department or webmaster to add the Accelerated Mobile Pages code to your mobile newsroom pages or rebuild your newsroom in WordPress and use their AMP plugin.
