Fox sues Netflix for poaching its employees

Executives at the well-known entertainment company are growing tired of Netflix’s success. To retain talent and bolster its image, Fox is filing suit. Here are statements from both sides.

Two of the biggest names in entertainment are in a catfight over employees.

Twentieth Century Fox has apparently grown tired of Netflix stealing its employees—so much so, it filed a lawsuit in California against the streaming TV service provider.

The lawsuit claims that Netflix launched a “brazen campaign to unlawfully target, recruit and poach valuable Fox executives by illegally inducing them to break their employment contracts with Fox to work at Netflix.”

Though the lawsuit only accuses Netflix of poaching two contracted executives from Fox—Marcos Waltenberg and Tara Flynn— 19 other executives reportedly jumped ship for Netflix’s greener pastures.
