PR leaders weigh remote work options as offices begin to reopen

Some in the industry are ready to jump ship if they can’t keep the flexibility they have come to treasure and rely upon during the pandemic.

Many PR pros are weighing their options—along with employees across countless other industries—as businesses weigh a return to the workplace in the aftermath of COVID-19. While some say the that the work-from-home experiment has been largely successful, there has been a steady drumbeat from some business leaders to return to the office.

JPMorgan’s Jamie Dimon has decried the effects of remote work, and Sandeep Mathrani, CEO of WeWork, (perhaps self-interestedly) claimed that there’s no question that remote workers are less engaged in their careers and organizations.
