Premier Mentorship Event Salutes 5 PR Leaders

After a pandemic-required hiatus last year, the Plank Center’s “Milestones in Mentoring Gala” returns this November as both an in-person and virtual event you’ll not want to miss.

Dubbed by many past attendees as the “PR party of the year,” the Milestones gala will honor five influential leaders who are known for their commitment to mentoring the current and next generation of PR professionals. Rather than the formal sit-down dinners of past years, the 2021 event will include the program saluting great mentors followed by a lavish cocktail reception on Thursday, Nov. 11 at the Union League Club of Chicago.

Mentors will be introduced by one of their lucky mentees. This year’s honorees and the individual introducing them are:

David Albritton, Founder & CEO, Nineteen88 Strategies, LLC, presented by Aaron Paxton Arnold, Lead Creative Specialist – B Code Media, H Code. Jack Koten Corporate Award

Dr. Jinx Coleman Broussard, Professor & Scholar, LSU Manship School of Mass Communication, presented by John Deveney, Owner & President, Deveney. Bruce K. Berger Educator Award
