Fast forward 14 years to last year’s Coachella event and it’s a different story: 190,000 tickets sold resulting in $84 million , making it the world’s “highest-grossing festival,” according to Billboard.

Tips for brands handling death on social media

These two articles caught my attention throughout the last 24 hours: Mashable "Brands awkwardly try to pay tribute to Prince". Adweek "Brands post tributes to Prince, but struggle to make them Heartfelt and Not Promotional". Death can often bring out the worst in brands, and people, on social media. I’ve been thinking about this for years. It’s obviously a sensitive subject so my opinions may be unpopular.
