ESPN The Magazine: will cease publication, effective with the September issue (@espn).

Hill, The: hires Saagar Enjeti (@esaagar) as Washington Correspondent and Host.

Barron’s: hires Eric Savitz (@savitz) as an Associate Editor covering technology, investing and Silicon Valley. He begins in a few weeks. It’s his third stint at the publication.

Financial Times: moves U.S. Robin Wigglesworth (@RobinWigg) to Global Finance Correspondent in Norway.

Marketwatch.com: appoints Jon Swartz (@jswartz) as Senior Reporter. He covers technology from the SF Bay Area.

Wall Street Journal: promotes Nell Henderson (@nhendersonwsj) to Economics Editor.

Popular Mechanics: hires Andrew Daniels (@skippyd) as How-To Editor. He’ll be working on digital content and stories related to science, sci-fi, culture, health, adventure and spirits.

Beer Advocate: will cease print publication. The publisher will continue to produce online content (@BeerAdvocate).

Considerable: Diane Harris (@dianeharris) has left.

Improper Bostonian, The: has ceased publication (@theimproper).

PureWow: hires Dena Silver (@deenersilver) as Fashion Editor.

Kaiser Health News: hires Markian Hawryluk (@MarkianHawryluk) as a Reporter in Colorado, effective in May. KHN announced in March that it was launching a Colorado bureau.

Firewall, The: hires William Theobald (@billtheobald) as Senior Writer. The non-profit news outlet from Issue One will cover political reform at the local, state and national levels.
