Poynter Institute: (@Poynter) announced a partnership between PolitiFact and Noticias Telemundo, which provides news programming to Spanish-language Telemundo affiliates. Under the deal, PolitiFact reporters and editors will appear for interviews on Noticias Telemundo broadcasts, and PolitiFact will fact-check statements submitted by Noticias Telemundo. In addition, the organizations will collaborate to translate PolitiFact fact-checks into Spanish for use online and on TV.

Barron’s Group: hires Selin Bucak (@SelinBucak2) as a London-based senior reporter for Private Equity News.
Marketplace: hires Meghan McCarty Carino (@meghamama) as a Reporter covering workplace issues, effective in early April.
Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal: hires Dylan Thomas (@MSPBJnews) as a Reporter covering residential real estate, homebuilding, transportation and manufacturing.
Quartz: moves Sarah Todd (@SarahLizChar) to Senior Reporter for the “Quartz at Work” section.
Wall Street Journal: has announced a partnership with Apple in which selected content from the paper will appear in Apple News +, the company’s forthcoming subscription news service. The organizations will also collaborate in additional areas including video, market data and artificial intelligence. The paper has promoted Jennifer Hicks (@jenniferhicks) to Editor of news partnerships, with oversight of the Apple platform. The paper plans to hire additional editorial staff for the venture. Ben Pershing (@benpershing) joins as Politics Editor.
