Prohibition wins big at the Prolific North awards taking home Best Small PR Agency of the Year and Best Integrated Campaign 2019.

Both are down to the hard work of everyone here and we are all thrilled with the new recognition these two accolades bring. With so much competition on the night from lots of high-quality PR agencies, winning small PR agency of the year, is a huge achievement, with us having to see off some stiff competition from seven other nominees and those were just the ones shortlisted.
Gaining such a prestigious award is down to a number of factors in how we have operated over the last several years; staff retention and investment in training have allowed our members of the team to operate at a very high level of quality. In turn, this has seen an increase in creativity and innovative ideas, which has happily resulted in client growth and a bursting portfolio of fantastic campaigns.
Commenting on why the accolade was awarded to us, Prolific North said, “In a competitive category, Prohibition really stood out to the judges. They have been bold and reinvented themselves in a challenging market and have also achieved some amazing results.”
Winning Best Integrated Campaign for last year’s work for Photography brand CEWE is also an achievement we are immensely proud of. The aim was to boost the brand’s profile in the UK as, despite its big success in Europe and across the World, it was relatively unknown in Britain.
A consumer competition centred on “bringing the joy back into photography” was the crux of the campaign. Based on research that found nearly half of millennial’s say that the pressure to post their lives on social media has caused stress, anxiety and removed the fun element of taking photos. This enabled our team to create a very topical angle and further engage people with the CEWE brand.
Working in conjunction with mental health charity Mind, entrants were tasked with sending in their most treasured memories and inspiring moments ever captured on camera. Twelve winners were then chosen and their stunning pictures were put into a calendar which went on sale at £5 with all proceeds going to Mind.
Prolific North judges said of the win, “This hugely successful campaign delivered real ROI increasing orders by 36%, increased sales by 52% and introduced 6,000 new customers to the brand.”
Winning awards from such a well-renowned magazine as Prolific North and coming through a rigorous judging process is a testament to the quality of the work our team has produced this year. We are hoping the accolades will continue to roll in and serve as deserved recognition for the high level of quality services we provide to our clients.
