For the sixth edition of CES Unveiled Paris on October 3rd, the organizers strategically co-located the event with the Mondial Paris Motor Show, the most visited motor show in the world. This is a clear sign of the importance CES is giving to cross-channel industries and technologies worldwide. In his introductory speech, Mr. Gary Shapiro, President and CEO of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), was keen to remember that Europe – and France – is well-positioned in innovation and emerging tech trends. Las Vegas’ CES has seen the French presence increase by 55% since 2016.

With the automotive show next door, many exhibitors at CES Unveiled Paris presented innovative technologies linked to mobility and the future of transportation, including energy and the environment, as well as products and services for smart cities and smart homes. 55 French companies have been selected as ‘CES 2019 Innovation Honorees,’ with the full list of Honorees being announced in New York earlier this month. In the category ‘Tech for a Better World,’ technologies in digital health had a preeminent place. And, it will come as no surprise that artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, and security are now deeply rooted in every industry.

Some of the main highlights to look forward to at CES 2019 in Las Vegas were unveiled in Paris: 5G connectivity, artificial intelligence, data and resilient technologies, as well as the announcements of some of the key speakers — Dr. Lisa Su, President of AMD; and IBM’s CEO, Ginni Rometty.

Entrepreneurs, start-ups, buyers, investors, industry insiders, government officials, tech influencers and media keep converging at CES Las Vegas every January – the global stage for innovation. Over the years, it has become the place for strategic connections. Big and small companies need each other for promises of growth, and cross-channel and cross-cultural technologies build momentum for development.

CES is unquestionably the trade show to attend. It is the largest event dedicated to the future of consumer technology. Investors and media are at the forefront, looking for the next life-changing innovations or trends that will impact consumers, business and the global economy.

As “Official Wire” of CES, Business Wire gives exhibitors, sponsors and presenting companies the opportunity to increase their media visibility with targeted distribution circuits that reach the main international news agencies like AFP, AP and PA; the official CES exhibitor news page; tech and digital media; as well as our base of journalists around the world. Business Wire is also a leader in multimedia distribution. In today’s world, where everything is visual, why not choose to communicate via photo or video to bring more impact and greater amplification.

CES 2019 takes place in less than two months. But NOW is the time to prepare your communications campaign. By anticipating and preparing your messages and announcements, you give yourself the possibility to be one step ahead and give the media the time to reach out to you prior to the show.

So, if you’re heading to CES 2019 in January, remember that NOW is the time to start planning your news releases and communications strategy.

CES 2019 is in Las Vegas, January 8-11, 2019
